The entire team at Apex, from Lauren the owner, all the way to the drywall and paint crews, did an absolutely outstanding job on our family room update. It wasn't an easy task, it involved removing old stubborn wallpaper from the 1960's, skim coating the walls, and then painting. But, Apex made it all look like childs play. Louis and his coworker (Justin? sorry! terrible with names) did an awesome job. They painted my house early this spring and I've since experienced peeling on the wood trim around the house due to poor adhesion from the old paint to the wood. They came back out in the fall at no charge to scrape off any peeling areas and re-painted with higher quality paint each entire board that had issues for continuity. When I thanked them for coming back out, he insisted that they aren't happy until I'm happy. He was very professional and personable - took me on three walk-arounds of the house first for me to point out issues, then to show his progress, and finally to show the end result. The office was very responsive and prompt as well. I'm so happy MacFarland stands behind their work and ensures a quality job.
We had a very positive experience with the friendly and professional crew. The carpenter found creative solutions to several longstanding problems that had gone undiagnosed by previous carpenters. We described our desired color and the crew brought several options for us to view, going so far as to paint the trim near the color samples so that we could imagine what the house would look like at the end. When, halfway through the process, the whole thing looked horrible to me, Lauren encouraged me to trust our original decision and, indeed, I was very pleased with the result.
My childhood home is being transformed before my eyes. Apex Painting has played a significant role in this transformation. After a local painter failed to follow through on doing the exterior trim work of this two story farmhouse, a friend recommended Apex Painting. Not only did Apex throughly prep & paint the exterior trim, but there was never so much as a speck of paint found on the ground around the house! They have brought new life to a battered windmill & are now sealing interior brick walls & staining a pine ceiling. Attention to detail has been superb! MacFarland Painting painted our siding, shutters, garage door, and front door just over a year ago. They painted our kitchen cupboards also. Over a year later and everything looks fantastic! No chips, no missed spots, just perfect paint jobs. Every single person we interacted with was wonderful. Apex recently painted our high ceiling and walls in the living room. Heather and Thunder were meticulous with taping, patching a couple of areas on the walls, stain blocking a few high ceiling areas, painting and clean up. The cathedral ceiling and high walls did not make for an easy job, but they taped the eight ceiling beams with care, and carefully covered large furniture. From start to finish we had contact with Justin, Lauren, Cathy, Heather and Thunder and all of them strive to provide good customer service. We are pleased with their work. I recommend getting an estimate from them for any painting projects you may be thinking of doing.

Apex just finished painting much of the interior of our home. We couldn’t be more pleased with both the process and the finished product. We agonized over color choices and they patiently gave great suggestions without pressure. They did what they said they’d do and more. Now I am gazing at fresh, clean walls with much appreciation.

Very professional job. Results are beautiful. Crew was conscientious about every detail. I’d hire again without question. They painted our MBR and bathroom, painted kitchen cabinets and replaced the pulls and installed soft close hinges. Looks amazing!
We have used MacFarland in the past and we were extremely happy with their work and crew. We presently had them paint the exterior of our red brick house. It was lost in a sea of other red brick houses. The end result was absolutely amazing!

Steve and Blake were very professional & pleasant! They painted my basement ceiling and I couldn’t be happier, it looks amazing!!!! I would highly recommend them! Apex painted my kitchen cabinets and walls. It's like a brand new kitchen! Their customer service is top notch, and the finished product is amazing! Mike was very courteous. As a mom with young children, I really appreciated that they were thoughtful enough to be sure I could still use my kitchen as much as possible throughout the process.
